PS: Always preferred to chat with a existing person and insist on order the cd's that will perform a reload to a brand spanking new HD. Do this because I had an experience and have to pay twice when I could own received the complete reload set in the first place.
try pressing F11 on start up that should put you into the recouping mode
I do not think that HP vend recovery discs. They include the capability to make a salvage disc with the system. This is a one time burn the cds. If you can draw from into your system at all you might be competent burn them.
You are supposed to do that shortly after you get to PC. Otherwise I regard as you are heading to bestbuy or elsewhere to get a unmarked copy of Vista. Or you might contact HP repair, they might reload the OS for you
