How do you erase the sturdy drive on your computer and afterwards restore the computer.?

I enjoy a Compaq persario 5000 Desktop computer and the recovery disk to shift with it. And I get a pop up window soon saying im a system conterfiting victem. so I obligation to erase the hard drive and a few more things.

It depends. If your PC come with seizure disks like Recovery Disk 1, 2, 3 you want to reboot the PC near the first CD contained by the main drive. It should ask you to hit a button to verbs and just follow the instructions. (It will ask for the subsequent, ect, ect)



However, If your PC came near a Windows CD, A Driver disc, A Program CD, etc you put the window cd into the main drive and reboot the PC. It will ask you to hit a knob to boot from the CD. Do it. It should lift about 1-2 min to dance through all of its stuff. after a blue screen near text will pop up.

You will see option saying subsequent and I agree. Just keep describing it. You will also see an option that let you know Windows is already installed. Tell it ok (Not to repair but to go to the subsequent screen) then you should see an selection on what drives to choose. Choose the main C: drive and explain to it to reformat, the disk will do the rest then.
You requirement to put a windows disk or the disk you own in and later reboot it and it should have a eyeshade pull up near options that you can do next to the disk like format your complicated drive.
put the windows installation disk contained by your cd drive and turn your computer off. Once its sour, turn it back on and tolerate it boot from the CD drive.
