How do i amendment the icon on my mac?

i downloaded some cool icon that i want to use, but i dont know how to switch them. for instance, i want to change the god of my Macintosh HD icon on the desktop. how do i do that

one click on the mature icon within the finder, get info (command+i).



select the picture contained by the get info pane (one click) and paste the modern image.



that's it! It works for disks and freshly about any other database.
