How do I apply thermal compound to Intel Dual Core E6600 processor to attach heatsink?

I haven't done this surrounded by a couple of years and don't want to mess up. I remember finding an image guide that showed exactly how to apply the thermal compound. Anyone know where on earth I can find something like this for an Intel Dual Core E6600? I'm using the factory heatsink.

First of adjectives get Arctic Silver 2 (or up). It cools the CPU by 10C over the regular white silicon compound. They'll transport instructions too. Very thin vein, but everything covered. ~

I use a toothpick to spread it.
