why do you want to get information off your not easy drive,if you r planning on getting another computer i would keep the intricate drive,it is separate from the motherboard so the data can stay on it,and you can use it contained by your other computer,put it as a slave drive in another computer and you can use it for storage.but if you want to erase the information on it put it in a working computer as any a master drive or slave and go to my computer disappeared click it,find your hard drive it should be any C if it is a master or D if it is a slave right click the letter to your drive and look down the record and you will see format,i would make it a slave,because you may not be capable of format it as a master because it would contain a working operating system,but you could try it.
