How do i format my PC hindmost to absolutly zilch except XP?

i enjoy a HP Pavilion a350n. it has a C drive and a D drive. the D drive is a reclamation drive and this computer did not come with an XP disk. i want to format final to factory new but i dont want any of the crap on it that it come with so how can i do this w/o delete XP? and what is the RECOVERY D:/ drive for?

Well if you just want a stock XP, you obligation an XP disk.



The d drive is to make it backbone to just resembling when you walked out of the store near it, to use it.

Reboot, and when the prompt comes up, instead of letting

it default to c, and start window, move the hightlighted to d, and hit enter.
If you have a bootable XP compact disc, just insert on the CD-ROM drive. Be sure to configure your First Boot to CDROM. Follow the instruction given from the relief. The important tool is that you hold a bootable XP CD
