How do i remove items from the menu on the taskbar by the clock?

Right click on the taskbar and click Properties. In the Notification nouns under the Taskbar tab, click Customize. Under Behavior, subsequent to the description of each item will be a drop-down box. To forever hide an item, choose Always Hide surrounded by the drop-down box.
To have more RAM available at startup,

You can do Start, after RUN, then type

msconfig

Then uncheck items surrounded by the Startup tab.

Right click on any nouns of your notification area, (it should be a lighter blue than the blue on your taskbar) and click on properties.



Near the bottom, click on any check box undder Notifcation area, to regulation on what appears by your click, or click on customize for extra options.
