Actually the AMD64 is good. But specifically as a CPU only. If the MotherBoard is not designed for OverClocking you may not be capable of anyway.

Check your MotherBoard for its ID. Check your memory for its ID. Then go to their forums and ask within for comments about overclocking.

If you enjoy a nother PC you can setup Ultra VNC, http://www.uvnc.com, and actually study what your wife is doing live. Just make sure you squirrel away the start bar deity in the settings and clean out it from your windows firewall if your using it. Also put together sure that the 'remove wallpaper' option is not checked or she may realize your watching.
