Right click My Computer choose Properties

Advanced Tab

Click the first Settings button

Advanced Tab

Click the Change button



Here you can set the virtual memory size.

Be discreet setting this wrong, as it could cause decrease performance if used inappropriately. You must reboot before the settings help yourself to effect.
Clear out any programs you don't need i.e.weatherbug etc.

Turn bad items in your system tray that don't requirement to be working in the environment.(msconfig)startup.

And use the disk cleanup program located in the system tools.

If your PC is using that much virtual memory, you requirement to install more RAM.



When you do change your VM size, preserve it at one and a half time the size of your RAM amount. Set it to one size single.
